The closed system includes a stainless steel heavy-duty pin and a Delrin rash guard to help reduce wear when the winch line is slack or cinched tight.
Integrated alignment nodules in the fairlead base plate keep the link centered and properly positioned when not in use. Designed for use with synthetic rope only, this fairlead is recommended to be paired with a soft shackle to help prevent damage during recovery operations.
