Its smaller than stock diameter increases clearance from other components on the vehicle as lessens the risk of trail damage in the rocks. Engineered specifically for 2012-2026 Wrangler and 202-2026 Gladiator models running 0-6" of front lift, it includes a transfer case yoke adapter for a clean, direct bolt-on installation. The ICON 2012-2018 Jeep JK High Articulation Front Drive Shaft is needed when lifting your JK 3 - 4.5" to prevent front end vibration or CV bind under heavy articulation. On 2012-2018 model Jeep JKs this is also required for the drive shaft to clear the factory cross member that runs below it.
