CSF vs OEM: The original OE radiators from Porsche are plastic tanks with single row aluminum cores. While this is the most common OE radiator design and generally acceptable, there is always room for improvement. To compound the factory cooling system limitation, Porsche decided to forgo the center radiator on most models (see fitment notes) except the Turbo, Turbo S, GT3, and 992.2 GTS (Hybrid). This greatly limits the thermal capacity of the system and many owners report seeing high engine temperatures on track with some overheating after a few laps.
The CSF #7243 Cooling product is designed to be a "Drop-In Fit" application. The product will install in the OEM Location with no modifications necessary unless otherwise noted or instructions are included in the product package. Please see the manufacturer repair manual for standard installation instructions. If you do not feel confident installing this product CSF recommends taking it to a qualified installation facility.
