This long block assembly is a replacement for your 2024 Mustang Dark Horse™ 5.0L and an upgrade for your 2024 Mustang GT 5.0L. The 2024 Mustang 5.0L DOHC 32-valve V-8 uses advanced features such as direct and port fuel injection, twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT), high-flow cylinder heads, dual throttle bodies and high compression to deliver 500 horsepower in the Dark Horse™.
The lightweight plasma transferred wire arc spray aluminum cylinder block features cross-bolted main bearing caps, thick main bearing bulkheads for bottom-end strength, and optimized oil drainback and windage control to improve high-rpm performance.
